The Story of Stacie and Disabilities Ministry
Elaine will share her fascinating journey full of good news for all and will share helpful info about being inclusive and welcoming.
Tea is provided; please bring a finger food to share.
Tickets for a prize drawing will be for sale at the event. Prizes include wines, miscellaneous handmade items and a Grand Prize hand-made quilt donated by Focused on Him Quilters
Proceeds will benefit Disabilities Ministries of St.John’s.

Elaine Zimmerman
Elaine Zimmerman will be sharing today the remarkable and beautiful journey God allowed her to travel with her daughter, Stacie, who has a complex seizure syndrome and intellectual and developmental disabilities. Elaine is a pastor’s wife, mother, and Lutheran elementary school teacher (retired). She serves on the Disability Ministry Task Force for the California-Nevada-Hawaii District of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. Out of her life experiences with her daughter, Elaine has a passion for walking together with people who have disabilities and with their families. She is active in various ministries at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Napa, including teaching a twice-monthly Sunday Bible class for adults with special needs.
